The safety of your child is our main concern. All DC instructors are safety certified and our gym is filled with the best available equipment. Proper matting, wall padding, foam pits and carpeting are some of the same features you will see in our gym.
Classes begin in September and run through June. We offer ongoing registration and new students can join at anytime throughout the year. Classes are small, with eight students to every one instructor. Make-up classes are offered, five throughout the year, and must be scheduled in advance.
Open gym sessions are held every Friday from September 10, 2016 through June 23, 2017 from 7pm-9pm. Open gym offers the flexibility of supervised gymnastics training in a less structured environment. Open gym is not recommended for beginners.
Any registered DC Gymnastics student can attend open gym for $15 per session.
DC gymnastics allows non-registered students, above the age of 6 and under the age of 14, to attend open gym for $20 per session.
Everyone attending open gym MUST have a waiver signed by their parent in order to be admitted. We cannot accept any waivers signed by someone else's parent.
Pre-TEAM is the foundation of our competitive JOGA & USAG team program and provides the structure for entry into competitive team programs. Practices focus on strength, flexibility and core gymnastics skills with an emphasis on precise body positioning. Practices are two hours long and gymnastics must attend two practices per week.
Our USAG team competes within the guidelines of USAG gymnastics. Gymnasts begin competing compulsory routines and will have the opportunity to compete in local and state competitions. Teams practice between nine and twelve hours per week depending on the level. We will continue to increase the USAG team levels offered as our team develops the need.
Our JOGA team competes within the guidelines of the JOGA league (Jersey Optional Gymnastics Association). The team allows gymnasts to experience competitive gymnastics in a less intense environment, allowing time for other activities, and getting them ready for high school gymnastics. Practice focuses on strength, flexibility, balance, endurance and gymnastics skills. Each team level requires a different amount of practice hours per week ranging from seven to fourteen hours per week.
Cheer Tumble and Dance Tumble Classes
Our cheer tumble classes are popular with cheerleaders, dancers and those who want to work on their floor and tumbling skills. Students work only on floor, trampoline and tumbl-trak with a class ratio of 8:1. Proper techniques for front and back walkovers, cartwheels, roundoff's, back handsprings, tucks and twists are taught with the help of our rod floor, in-ground tumble-trak and foam pits.
Dance tumble classes will be offered beginning in September 2014. Students will work on floor, trampoline and tumbl-trak with a class ratio of 8:1. Proper techniques for front and back walkovers, cartwheels, back handsprings, front aerials and side aerials are taught with the help of our rod floor, in-ground tumble-trak and foam pits.
Private team or school tumbling classes are available. Call for details.
DC Gymnastics offers a flexible 8-week summer camp program. Your child will love our camp program of daily gymnastics classes, arts and crafts, gym games and field trips!
Full (9am-4pm) and half (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm) day camps are available.

Private lessons are available for those students looking to work on skills one-on-one with an instructor. Private lessons are popular for dancers, cheerleaders, gymnasts and karate students. All private lessons are customized to what the student is looking for. Chose from 30 minute, 45 minute or one hour long lessons. Group private lessons for 2-3 students are also available. Have your birthday party at DC Gymnastics! Our one and half hour parties include one hour of gym time and a half hour in our private party room (pictured below). Parties are available on Saturdays 1:30-3pm, 3:30-5pm, and 5:30-7pm, and Sundays from 11:30am-1pm, 1:30-3pm, and 3:30-5pm.
